Human Resources (Hr) Assistant

Description

Robert Half currently has a fantastic opportunity for a skillful and driven Human Resources Assistant. In addition to providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources related activities, policies, processes, and procedures, the Human Resources Assistant will be in charge of a number of different personnel related administrative tasks. This opening is with an organization in the Plantation, Florida area.

Your responsibilities

• Assist with planning new employee orientation meetings
• Manage a number of administrative duties
• Research the internet to locate potential customers
• Update employee database logs

Requirements

• Approachable and appropriate behavior when interacting with personnel at all levels in a quickly changing environment
• Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects
• Expertise in Microsoft Word
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of data entry
• Prior experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
• Sound written and verbal communication skills
• Familiar with office applications and software, as well as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
