The Role at a glance:
As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will provide administrative HR support with the goal of fostering a healthy, efficient, and positive workplace by ensuring that all administrative HR processes/procedures are executed seamlessly. In this role you will provide level 1 employee relations support for Operations Leaders across Elior’s 12 Segments. You are responsible for supporting reporting, projects, programs and initiatives designed by Corporate HR and Site Management related to Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning and Employment, Rewards and Recognition, etc.
This is a transactional support position, and we need an individual who enjoys supporting data, reporting, payroll, and able to interpret and explain our policies.
What you’ll be doing:
- Data requests (reporting relationships report, Business Development requests, etc.)
- Assist site leaders with Kronos and pay related transactions
- Maintain open communication channels with hourly employees to resolve pay related issues
- Conduct initial investigations of level 1 Employee Relations issues and HR based transactional issues
- Support Employee Engagement Activities
- Field issues from Operations and facilitate resolution
- Track and report participation in Elior Training: My Elior Journey, Monthly Training, Harassment, etc.
- Champion for compliance (HR Audit, Required Training, etc.)
- Assist in creation of SOPs
- Employee maintenance administration using the PSCR system
- Organizational Charts Maintenance
- Analyzing data and reporting finding and trends
- Seek ways to improve and document HR process, transactions and outcomes
- File management
What we’re looking for:
Must-haves:
- 2-4 years of HR experience
- Experience in interpreting and communicating policies
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite including Excel – pivot tables, vlookup, etc.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Travel: minimal for open enrollment, business needs, training (less than 10%)
- Experience in supporting employee payroll questions
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Unemployment
- Experience with a ticketing system (Zendesk preferred)
- Experience with Leave of Absences
