The HR Representative role is responsible for providing HR support to employees and leaders in the Americas region, which includes the United States, Canada, Mexico, Argentina, and Colombia.

This role acts as the first point of contact for American Express Global Business Travel employees that have HR or Payroll related questions or issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use straightforward communication in a structured way when influencing and connecting.
• Supports other HR areas on any special projects.
• Work with Talent Acquisition in the offer process and collaborate on troubleshooting some recruiting system issues.
• Maintains a detailed knowledge of HR processes and procedures throughout the countries supported in the region.
• Provides support for employee and leader transactions in Workday as a proficient user.
• Partner with HRIS, HRBPs, payroll, benefits, and employee relations to escalate complicated tickets or concerns.
• Ensures all employee information is kept strictly confidential.
• Assists with gathering and updating information for internal and external audits.
• Accurately troubleshoot HR and payroll questions, identify issues, develop solutions, and accurately document interactions within the HR System.
• Collaborates on any other HR tasks or company projects.
• Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy, and relevance.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Workday knowledge desired
• Experience in HR, benefits, payroll, or HRIS is preferred.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving and rapidly changing matrix environment
• Knowledge of the FreshService or Service Now system is useful.
• Suitable environment to work from home.
• Experience supporting a remote employee population or working in a HR Shared Service environment

Max pay rate of $23/hr.

The US national hourly wage range for this position is from $20.00 to $40.00 per hour. The national range provided includes the hourly rate that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual hourly wage rate will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.
