Job Description

Join Cerebral Staffing, LLC on site at our client John Deere in Waterloo, IA as a Training Coordinator!

Location: Waterloo, IA | Onsite

Duration of Role: 2+ years

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general supervision, performs clerical office duties such as document processing, report preparation, and standardized process execution; responds to standard inquiries referring complex requests to appropriate staff members; analyzes information of intermediate difficulty using individual judgment in the performance of tasks; researches or resolves discrepancies following prescribed procedures; and updates and maintains process documentation.

  • Retrieves records or data and distributes information as appropriate in order to provide timely and accurate information to department members or external training users.
  • Performs analysis of basic or intermediate nature on information received, and researches or resolves discrepancies following prescribed procedures
  • Prepares and maintains documentation of department processes and runs reports or updates forms according to defined procedures.
  • Administration of Learning Management System to publish, maintain, and schedule training class setup and offerings.
  • Verifies the accuracy and completeness of data submissions and forms; enters data into appropriate system or processes forms according to standard procedures.
  • Compiles data necessary to prepare files or create standard and special reports using defined formats.
  • Contacts training users outside of the direct training staff and receives incoming inquiries; responds to standard inquiries and refers complex requests to appropriate staff members.
  • Produces written correspondence in response to training user inquiries.

REQUIRED:

  • Microsoft software experience (Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

DESIRED:

  • Microsoft Teams, SAP, Tableau, PowerBI, Workfront, and/or Deere’s LMS system John Deere University (JDU) experience

Duties Include:

Partner with the leadership team to understand and execute the organization’s human resource and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession-planning

Provide support and guidance to HR generalists, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise

Manage the talent-acquisition process, including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding talent

Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent

Manage the company performance management process, including providing recommendations for and executing enhanced practices and tools

Develop and deploy the employee engagement strategy and implement a new engagement platform to increase team member satisfaction and retention

Co-author and execute learning and training initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for Vaya employees

Facilitate employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations

Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance

Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law

Perform other duties as assigned
