POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible to undertake a variety of HR administrative duties - one of the main focus areas of this position will be on coordinating and responding to Unemployment Insurance information requests and claims across several states. You will also assist with the daily HR functions needed to support our corporate function and Swing Sub community. This position will be full-time remote with possible minimal offsite responsibilities located in Northern California. An ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have a broad knowledge of human resources as well as general administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Investigate, coordinate and respond to Unemployment Insurance requests nationally
Attend Unemployment Claim Insurance Hearings remotely as required
Identify and implement best-practices for coordinating responses for Unemployment Insurance Claim requests
Research, understand, and apply various state and local laws as it relates to Unemployment Insurance specifically California
Run reports to generate data, manipulate data, and present data effectively utilizing Excel and Google Sheets
Establish metrics to measure success and impact
Scan/process mail and maintain remote office responsibilities
Assist in maintaining offsite responsibilities, including but not limited to, picking up equipment and sending mail through the US Post Office and UPS
Processes new hires, rehires, transfers and terminations, and all related transactions for corporate employees and Swing Subs
Track and assign compliance trainings required for employees to maintain employment
Assist with other HR responsibilities and duties
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years related experience
Must have experience with California Employment Law
Unemployment Insurance claim experience a must
Strong analytical and communication skills
Required experience navigating, completing data entry, and generating reports in an HRIS
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Dependable, flexible and possess the ability to work independently
Team player, able to collaborate with other departments
Intermediate or advanced-level skills using G Suite and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) experience required
