The Healthcare Operational Performance Analyst performs a variety of duties as part of a team that supports the successful growth and profitability of the business segment operations. This position works closely with operations and internal cross-functional groups, as well as interacts with assigned clients, to ensure deliverables are successfully met on time.
- Participates in projects and program initiatives, and complete assigned projects on time.
- Supports responses and coordination of internal team and assigned client requests which may include, but not limited to:
- Receives assignments in the form or objectives, incorporates feedback to adjust work priority as necessary, and effectively works independently and with team to successfully meet business needs.
- Conducts research, generates, and presents reports on set schedule and/or ad-hoc basis; and takes specific actions based on the information as appropriate for role.
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
- Tracking of data mining concepts through the development cycle while seeking client approvals
- Support the development, maintenance, organization, and storage of documentation (e.g., Assigned Client data matrices, Process flows, Standard operating procedures, and Templates
- Client invoice and reconciliation research and reporting
- Meet with Key stakeholders as needed and attend internal and client calls as requested and/or assigned.
- Monitors internal and external reports for assigned clients or business segment.
- Host internal team calls and support the OP Team on client calls in support of assigned duties.
- Manage requests from clients for claim audit details, letters, and correspondence using internal systems and data sources.
- Provide support in tracking and monitoring time sensitive assigned client escalations.

Required Skills and Knowledge
- Ability to obtain and maintain client required clearances as well as pass company required background and/or drug screening.
- Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite; Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills a must.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in professional setting in collaboration with internal cross-functional teams and clients.
- Ability to consistently perform job responsibilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good critical thinking, questioning, and problem-solving skills required to be successful in the role.
- Strong technical skills with ability to quickly adapt to new applications and systems.
- Self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced dynamic business operations environment with ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Ability to meet objectives with minimal supervision.
- Completion of Teleworker Agreement upon hire, and adherence to the Agreement (and related policies and procedures) including, but not limited to: able to navigate computer and phone systems as a user to work remote independently using on-line resources, must have high-speed internet connectivity, appropriate workspace able to be compliant with HIPAA, safety & ergonomics, confidentiality, and dedicated work focus without distractions during work hours.

Education And Experience
- Demonstrated experience gathering, researching, and documenting data and requirements for projects and/or complex problem solving.
- Bachelor's Degree in related business or industry or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 years directly related progressive experience in healthcare industry including report development, data analysis, and gathering/documenting requirements for projects demonstrating depth and breadth of knowledge and capability required for the position.
- Client services and project management experience a plus
Other Requirements
- Performant is a government contractor. Certain client assignments for this position requires submission to and successful outcome of additional background and/or clearances throughout employment with the Company.
- Must submit to and pass drug screen pre-employment (and throughout employment).
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check; must not have any felony convictions or specific misdemeanors, nor on state/federal debarment or exclusion lists.
- Must submit to and pass pre-hire background check, as well as additional checks throughout employment.
Physical Requirements
- Job is performed in a standard busy office environment with moderate noise level (or may be home-office setting subject to Company approval and Teleworker Agreement), sits at a desk during scheduled shift, uses office phone or headset provided by the Company for calls, making outbound calls and answering inbound return calls using an office phone system; views a computer monitor, types on a keyboard and uses a mouse.
- Occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 10lbs.
- Consistently viewing a computer screen and types frequently, but not constantly, using a keyboard to update accounts.
- Reads and comprehends information in electronic (computer) or paper form (written/printed).
- NOTE: Must be able to meet requirements for and perform work assignments in accordance with Company policies and expectations on a home remote basis (and must meet Performant remote-worker requirements). Basic office equipment required to perform remote work is provided by the company.
- Consistently communicates on the phone as required primarily within the department and company and may include client contacts or other third-party depending on assignment with account holders, may dial manually when need or use dialer system; headset is also provided.
- Sit/stand 8 or more hours per day; has the option to stand as needed while on calls; reach as needed to use office equipment.
