The Office of Business Performance (OBP) at Viatris supports executive leadership by providing key business insights on the global business & operations, prioritizing the largest issues & opportunities facing the company, and tracking and monitoring performance to maximize value creation.


This analyst will support the strategic execution of Viatris’ Global OBP program by assisting with analytical insights on the global business & operations while also assisting with the creation of presentation materials.


Key responsibilities for this role include:


  • Support the execution of Viatris’ Global OBP program by undertaking analytics and providing insights on the global business & operations.
  • Assist the OBP team in analyzing monthly/quarterly performance and support in the preparatory activities/analysis for the 2024 Budgeting Cycle
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Monitor peer/industry trends and activity and provide up to date commentary.
  • Assist with the preparation/coordination of quarterly earnings materials, including select earnings slides and relevant Q&A
  • Assist OBP team in creating summaries of select sell-side analyst reports.


The minimum qualifications for this role are:


  • Excellent organization skills, takes initiative and is proactive and persistent.
  • Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex business and/or technical documents. Ability to write comprehensive reports and detailed business correspondence. Ability to work with managers or directors and communicate ambiguous concepts. Ability to present to groups across the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
  • Must be analytical and a strategic thinker.
  • Able to work in diverse multi-level, cross-divisional and multi-cultural working environment.
  • Ability to solve problems with a variety of concrete variables through semi-standardized solutions that require some ingenuity and analysis. Ability to draw inferences and follow prescribed and detailed procedures to solve moderately complex problems.
  • Must be a self-starter, exhibit ability to prioritize tasks and not be afraid to ask for direction/guidance.
  • Must exhibit executive presence and strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 0-2 years of experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Ability to perform computations such as percentages, ratios, and rates.
