Business Analyst - Healthcare - Jira Align

6 month contract to hire position for a Business Analyst with Jira Align experience.

This is a high priority effort for critical Redetermination efforts. These positions are urgently needed to due to increased complexity with market outreach efforts so that we can fully understand and shape our company’s outreach strategy.

100% remote

Day to day:

In support of redetermination, these roles will be critical for the integration of health plan event data for use in executive dashboards. Specifically, these roles will be meeting with various vendors and health plans that are doing outreach to members on their own. The data will include information from outbound phone calls, direct mail, email, and text campaigns. Daily activities will include discovery sessions, system mapping discussions, testing and postproduction support.

• Serve as the subject matter expert on the assigned function product to ensure operational performance.
• Identify ways to enhance performance management and operational reports related to new business implementation processes
• Develop, share, incorporate organizational best practices into business applications
• Coordinate with various business units and departments in the development and delivery of training programs
• Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of various systems
• Diagnose problems and identify opportunities for process redesign and improvement
• Identify and analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes
• Perform detailed analysis on multiple projects, recommend potential business solutions and ensure successful implementations
• Formulate and update departmental policies and procedures

Describe the performance expectations/metrics for this individual and their team:

• Efficiency – need to be able to complete work on time… have a good handle on the limitations of the time and resources available and should be able to prioritize getting things done as efficiently as possible.
• Helpfulness – this is not easy to measure and sometimes not easy to see from a leadership point of view. However, will conduct a survey with the team asking who they feel on the team has been the most helpful over the past 3-9 months.
• Initiative – this role requires people who can adapt to change and be proactive. People who ask for help or jump in when they see help is needed.
• Quality – constantly reviewing the requirements and pre-refining, and planning and helping with test cases and UAT to ensure we have captured everything before promoting to production.
• Attendance – this person should be at as many team meetings as possible, show up on time and don’t leave early.
