Job Summary:

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making within the organization. Your expertise in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization will be instrumental in identifying trends, patterns, and opportunities that drive business growth and optimization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineering, business stakeholders, and management, to enhance data processes, develop robust reporting frameworks, and contribute to the overall data strategy of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

·Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex datasets using various statistical methods and analytical techniques to identify key trends, patterns, correlations, and insights.

·Data Visualization: Create compelling and interactive data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

·Data Interpretation: Translate data analysis results into actionable recommendations and strategic insights to drive business improvements, cost efficiencies, and revenue growth.

·Data Quality and Integrity: Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through rigorous data validation and cleaning procedures.

·Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to monitor business performance, providing regular updates and insights to stakeholders.

·Forecasting and Predictive Analytics: Utilize forecasting and predictive modeling techniques to identify potential opportunities or risks and assist in decision-making processes.

·Data Governance: Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data policies, standards, and privacy regulations.

·Process Improvement: Continuously improve data analysis methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

·Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams such as marketing, finance, operations, and product development to understand their data needs and provide insights to drive data-oriented solutions.

·Mentoring and Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

Qualifications and Skills:

·Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

·Proven experience as a Data Analyst, with a track record of delivering impactful insights and reports.

·Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.

·Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to create meaningful visualizations.

·Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.

·Solid understanding of statistical methods and data analysis techniques.

·Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle and analyze large datasets.

·Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner.

·Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices.

·Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

·Business acumen and the capability to understand the implications of data analysis on business strategy.

Preferred Qualifications (optional):

·Previous experience in leading or managing a team of data analysts.

·Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and applications.

·Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

·Industry-specific certifications or relevant coursework
