Canadian Health Labs (CHL) is a nationwide, rapidly growing healthcare solutions provider which leverages its unique ability of attracting specialised international and domestic sustainable HHR (healthcare human resources) to provide tailored solutions designed to support and improve the Canadian Healthcare System. CHL’s international recruitment arm provides long term sustainable HHR (healthcare human resources) to address macro economic issues in the Canadian Healthcare System.

Role Summary

The Healthcare Executive Recruiter will be required to advertise job postings, gather applications, and headhunt prospective candidates for senior health care and corporate roles. Lead niche recruitment needs of fast growing business areas. You have experience recruiting Executive Healthcare positions in Clinics, Hospitals and LTC. For example; Clinic Manager, Medical Office Assistant, Logistics Lead, Clinic Operations Lead, etc.

You should be familiar with online and offline sourcing techniques, like networking at career events and searching for potential hires through resume databases and should also have advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques (including Boolean search).

Reporting Structure

This role will report to the CEO and other Senior Executive Team members / designates.

Critical Accountabilities

• Devise and carry out a targeted research strategy to attract and develop a pipeline of talented candidates for senior healthcare and corporate roles
• Map role criteria, define position description and document specifications
• Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit and compatibility
• Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
• Organise confidential interviews, follow-up reference checks
• Conduct benchmark research on compensation and benefits for various positions and seniority levels
• Represent and promote CHL as employer brand and employee value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner
• Promote job posting through existing networks
• Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
• Track and identify prospective candidates using a variety of channels and use Boolean search to look for qualified candidates for hard-to-fill roles
• Join social media groups and professional networks and interact with potential candidates

Qualification & Experience

• Demonstrated good judgement, discretion and sensitivity to confidentiality
• Skilled at negotiation, presentation, and execution
• Excellent communication and persuasion abilities (particularly when making cold calls and sending recruiting emails)
• The successful applicant must provide satisfactory criminal records check prior to beginning employment
• Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
• Advanced knowledge of sourcing techniques (including Boolean search)
• Time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple open roles simultaneously
• Hands-on experience with sourcing tools (e.g. resume databases and portfolio sites)
• Excellent at both verbal and written communication
• Proven work experience as a Headhunter, Recruiter or similar

Note: This role is in a virtual team environment and the role holder will need to have open availability. Evening and Weekend availability may be required from time to time.
