Healthcare Customer Service - Remote ($18.00 - $20.00 / Hour)

• Relaying relevant information about same-day appointments to individual facilities
• Answering telephones, making appointments, processing referrals, and verifying patient information and insurance coverage
• Maintaining thorough knowledge of provider scheduling protocols
• Initiating chart requests for urgent patients
• Screening requests for emergency care and scheduling accordingly
• Maintaining provider templates and appointment schedules
• Confirming, canceling, or rescheduling appointments as requested

Qualifications

• Preferred but not required: Healthcare/Medical experience
• Preferred experience in handling a high volume of calls
• Epic experience is a plus
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Computer proficiency and ability to handle multiple screens
• 1 to 2 years of customer service experience required; call center experience is a plus
