Customer Service Specialist - Remote / Telecommute ($18.00 - $19.00 / Hour)

Employer is currently seeking a customer service representative to join our team. As a member of our company, you will have the opportunity to provide quality customer service, answer customer inquiries, and assist with order processing. Joining our team will provide you with valuable experience in the optical industry and the opportunity to develop your customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and respond to customer questions and concerns
• Perform other duties within the customer service department as assigned
• Prioritize and resolve customer issues and concerns
• Enter and rework orders
• Observe all company policies, rules, and safety practices
• Manage customer late lists and communicate with customers
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Answer outbound customer calls, emails, and chat
• Assist customers with optical-related technical questions

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, including telephone/email etiquette and active listening
• At least 1 year of previous related experience and/or training is required
• Familiarity with electronic communication methods such as email, instant messaging, and chat services
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
• High School education or equivalent preferred
