Job Description

ALO is the first operating system built for stadiums, arenas, campuses, zoos, airports, and other public facilities. In a short time, with founder-led sales, we have a strong roster of brand name customers in pro sports, college athletics, university campuses, and zoos.


We're seeking an experienced enterprise software-as-a-service (SaaS) sales executive to lead our efforts in the sports and entertainment verticals. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our customer base by closing SaaS deals with sports and entertainment customers. You have existing relationships with and experience selling software solutions to executives and leaders at pro sports teams, leagues, major venues, and venue management companies. You are driven and independent with the passion and ambition to build trusted relationships and close significant revenue deals with new customers.


ALO is not just another B2B SaaS product - we are reinventing the way public facilities operate. The ideal candidate has prior operational experience in security, venue management, and/or law enforcement.


Responsibilities

  • Consultative Selling: Understand customer pain points, challenges, and objectives. Present tailored solutions to senior executives and decision-makers. Articulate the value proposition of ALO’s SaaS solution and demonstrate how it can drive higher operational efficiency, improved fan experience, and reduced risk.
  • Prospect and Generate Leads: Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities within the sports and entertainment industry. Leverage various channels, including your existing relationships, industry events & conferences, referrals, trade associations, and cold outreach, to generate leads and build a robust pipeline.
  • Deal Closing: Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure. Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and customer success to ensure successful onboarding and implementation of ALO.ai's solutions.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive leadership, venue department heads, and technology leaders to establish ALO.ai as a trusted partner in sports and entertainment verticals.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to target and engage buyers at sports and entertainment organizations, including professional sports teams, leagues, stadiums, arenas, event organizers, and entertainment companies.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry developments in the sports and entertainment space. Act as a thought leader and represent ALO.ai at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.


Qualifications

  • Proven ability to establish and nurture strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers in sports and entertainment organizations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively convey complex concepts and value propositions and conduct product demos to diverse audiences, from technical teams to C-level executives.
  • Demonstrated success in consultative selling and closing complex deals.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 5-7+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably in the SaaS industry, with a track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Self-motivation and drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a startup company with a remote team.
  • Strategic thinking and a solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of the sports and entertainment industry. Familiarity with the SaaS landscape in this industry is a strong plus.
