HOW YOU WILL DO IT
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Business Development Manager to champion Plexus Engineering Solutions within the Industrial and Semiconductor Capital Equipment (SemiCap) sectors. In this pivotal role, you will leverage your technical acumen and strategic mindset to showcase our capabilities, identify growth opportunities, and foster collaboration with key stakeholders. As the conduit between Plexus and our customers, you will play an instrumental role in achieving mutually beneficial project outcomes within this dynamic industry.
Responsibilities and Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Collaborate closely with global Engineering Operations to ensure seamless alignment of efforts and optimize project success.
  • Specialize in providing technical insights and guidance for projects within the Industrial and SemiCap sector, demonstrating a clear understanding of industry-specific challenges and requirements.
  • Provide support for product commercialization efforts, including integration of Design for Excellence (DFX) and Manufacturing Test strategies, working closely with our dedicated Product Commercialization Engineering organization.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Plexus Engineering Solutions and customers within the Industrial and SemiCap sectors, effectively communicating our unique value proposition and ensuring alignment with their project objectives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive opportunity strategies by deeply understanding customer needs and market trends to drive successful project outcomes.
Ideal Candidate Education and Experience Qualifications:
  • Deep understanding of the Industrial and SemiCap sector, including its technical intricacies and market landscape.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% to engage with customers and teams as required.
  • Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Familiarity with Design for Excellence (DFX) principles and Manufacturing Test strategies is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Strategic mindset with a strong ability to identify growth opportunities and develop corresponding strategies.
  • 5 years of experience in product development, business development, technical sales, or related roles, ideally within the Industrial and SemiCap sector.

The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Benefits offered for this position include health care; retirement benefits; paid days off, including sick time, and vacation time; parental leave; volunteer time, basic life insurance; Flexible Spending Accounts or Health Savings Accounts; and may be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses. Salary Range:$95,600.00 - $143,400.00
