About our client:
- Our client is a rapidly growing payment solutions provider specializing in crypto payments. Their headquarters is in Singapore, with offices in France and Spain. They doubled their team size last year and are looking to double it again this year. With substantial growth on the horizon, our client is seeking an experienced and driven Commercial Manager/Business Development Manager to join their team.
The role:
- The role is remote, but ideally, the candidate will be Miami-based and located in either PST or EST time zones to sync with Singapore. The candidate must have payment experience with a PSP-type company and international background or experience working for an international business. The candidate will also work closely with the CEO, who will manage introductions to Enterprise Accounts.
What you'll do:
- Monitor and report on the financial performance of the business, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Manage Mid-Size accounts in Gaming / Travel / Luxury and work with the CEO who will manage introductions to Enterprise Accounts such as Facebook and Amazon.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, customers, and stakeholders.
- Negotiate and close deals with new and existing clients, ensuring that all agreements are financially and commercially viable for our client.
- Work closely with internal teams, including product development, operations, and finance, to ensure that customer needs are met and that our client remains competitive in the market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the payments industry through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Develop and implement a commercial strategy that aligns with our client's overall business goals and objectives.
- Analyse market trends and competition to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in commercial management or business development. Must have worked for a PSP-type business and have Payment experience. Interest in Crypto is preferred.
- Must have an international mindset and drive to succeed.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects to completion.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams and drive results.
- Ability to think strategically and identify new business opportunities in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw insights.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a proven track record of closing deals and building long-term relationships with clients.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
