As a Director of Sales Strategy, Large Format, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales and distribution efforts within the off-premise retail market.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to maximize distribution, revenue, and market share within the off-premise retail sector at a national level.


Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to drive growth, achieve sales targets, and expand distribution within the off-premise national accounts segment.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at national retail chains, regional accounts, and other off-premise outlets to drive sales and secure favorable placements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, trade marketing, and finance, to develop effective sales programs, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies.

Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts, analyzing performance, identifying growth opportunities, and addressing any challenges or issues.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer insights to identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to gain a competitive edge.

Lead and mentor a team of account managers and sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure their success and professional development.

Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management, providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

Proven track record of success in national account sales within the spirits, beverage, or consumer packaged goods industry.

Strong understanding of the off-premise retail landscape, including national account chains, regional accounts, and emerging channels.

Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence key stakeholders.

Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve targets.

Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with experience in developing and managing budgets.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

Proficient in MS Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software as well as knowledge on Nielsen and being data driven to achieve additional listings.

Salary Range: $150,000 to $200,000
