What we’re looking for

We are looking for C-level business executives who have a market-based perspective, but also understand the operational and financial implications of a growth strategy.All Government Consulting positions at GSS are executive-level and require previous experience as a Vice President or CRO.


The successful candidate will work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams on the client side to refine product offerings and positioning and ensure exceptional client support. Our goal is simple – to ensure client satisfaction and client growth.

·An experienced leader with a proven track record of results in business transformation: building teams and driving revenue and facilitating growth.

·The ability to unite clients and government customers on a common plane with shared goals.

·Demonstrable record of success in the federal space, bringing innovative technologies to government customers and utilizing relationships and knowledge of the market to drive success for private sector technology innovators.

·A strong working knowledge of, and experience supporting a full range of IT solutions including cybersecurity, Zero Trust, Artificial Intelligence, access control, DevSecOps, cloud solutions, mobility/IoT, infrastructure, etc.

·An individual with a strong network of contacts in the federal market, including agency contacts, FSIs, 8(a) organizations, etc. and can tap into these associations to generate new business and to provide valuable partnerships, intelligence, and introductions to our client portfolio.

·The ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to clients who do not have experience and/or an understanding of the federal market.


GSS Consultants work with multiple companies at one time, helping the CEOs realize their vision for growth across the government market. GSS Executive Consultants possess 15-25 years of executive level government sales. They have strong financial and business acumen, with a proven track record of accomplishments in the field.

·>7 years’ experience in increasingly responsible government sales and management positions where excellent performance and employee management skills have been emphasized. Must be results-driven.

·Strong knowledge of the federal market and an extensive network of federal contacts

·Experience selling software or web technologies to a technical audience.

·A subject matter expert on government procurement processes and regulations.

·Progressive experience in professional services industry.

·Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of staff, clients and partners.

·Demonstrated comfort making decisions in a fast-paced environment.

·Professional energy, poise and self-confidence.

·Some travel is required.
