Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and solution-oriented sales director to lead our sales department. We need a self-motivated professional with proven managerial experience and an outstanding track record in sales. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining a thorough knowledge of our business and offerings, developing and implementing strategic sales plans to grow accounts, managing and strengthening customer and partners relationship, identifying new business opportunities, and coordinating with internal teams to deliver on client expectations. In addition to being an excellent communicator and assessing costs and competition, our ideal candidate will also demonstrate exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.


Primary Responsibilities


  • Assess costs, competition, and supply and demand to identify selling prices.
  • Develop and maintain excellent knowledge of our business, offerings, competitors, and industry.
  • Lead and motivate staff to improve customer service with clients.
  • Cultivate lasting relationships with customers to grow customer loyalty and strengthen client relationships.
  • Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Work with customers to better understand their business needs and goals.
  • Support sales teams to improve their performance and reach targets.
  • Meet with sales managers to assess company performance.
  • Design and implement strategic plans to reach sales targets.
  • Estimate sales volume and profit for current and new products.
  • Develop and promote weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales objectives.
  • Establish a sales training program to train new employees.
  • Draft detailed and accurate sales reports.
  • Retain clients and build strong, trusting relationships.


Sales Requirements


  • Ability to develop sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to manage various projects and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficient and current using CRM tools.
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
  • Willing and able to travel 50% - 75% of the time.
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and best practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in the Power Electronics business and technology is a Big Plus.
