Job Description
Who We Are
We are the preeminent EV partner focused on off-highway electric vehicles. With our ZeroNox electric powertrain platform (ZEPP) and our clean technology incubator, we provide electrification solutions for off-highway applications that are cleaner, higher performing and cost effective.
Position
The Director of Sales, or Sales Director, manages and oversees the sales operations in an organization. Their main duties include designing plans to meet sales targets, developing and cultivating relationships with clients and evaluating costs to determine their products’ pricing when selling to customers.
Job Duties
  • Review and analyze sales and operational data records and reports to project more sales, determine profitability and targets and potential new markets.
  • Hire, train, and manage regional and local sales teams to execute sales plans.
  • Understand customer desires and challenges to better provide solutions that meet their needs.
  • Perform other sales-related duties as assigned.
  • Report on sales goals, progress and forecasts to the executive leadership team.
  • Manage customer challenges and work cross-functionally with the customer service and product teams to resolve complaints/issues that may impact sales growth.
  • Prepare and manage sales team budgets.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and other events as needed
  • Forecast sales projections and drive to hit projected targets for each product line.
  • Develop and support the sales strategy for the company across several different product lines.
  • Provide leadership to motivate sales organization to reach sales targets.

Education And Experience
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as a management/sales professional
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Team leadership experience a plus.
  • Proven progressive sales leadership and sales numbers growth
Working Conditions
  • Office setting, constant sitting, working on a computer, occasional lifting and warehouse conditions.
  • Travels to expos and events and other related business activities may be required
Compensation
  • Annual Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 with commission target
  • Profit sharing Bonus Potential (must be defined)
