- Drive and Achieve Sales and Delivery Goals – Establish weekly, monthly and quarterly sales goals in coordination with the Division business plan. Oversee Sales Management to ensure goal achievement down through individual Sales Representatives. Provide regular updates on sales goals achievement/progress utilizing proprietary software and other sales tools. Sets overall direction for the market and target customer strategies to drive sales based on customer demographics, market trends, and competitor information. Creatively find ways to increase sales through marketing and broker outreach programs.
- Performance Management – Recruit, staff, train and retain sales roles through proper coaching and performance management on sales scorecard metrics. Identify performance gaps and offer solutions to narrow the gap. Ensure all sales counselors are properly trained and using Company’s Business Model and processes, specifically, our Structured Selling Process and digitized tracking tools, such as C3. Ensure performance reviews are conducted and bench players are placed on active Development Plans. Ensure RSM(s) are properly managing performance and development of employees.
- Sales Analysis & Strategy – Conduct regular competitor and market analysis staying abreast of all market and industry trends. Sets overall direction for the market and target customer strategies to drive sales based on customer demographics, market trends, and competitor information. Work to increase the Realtor Broker Outreach program. Evaluate sales, even-flow, staffing, turnover, cycle time, customer service, mystery shops, pricing, backlog and inventory reports consistently while identifying gaps and offering solutions. Work with all functional departments to achieve sales and overall business goals. Involved in special projects that may include land packages, product specification, house/lot design, options packages and any other relevant project that will drive sales.
- CSI/JDP – Ensure 100% customer satisfaction through excellent execution of the KBnxt business model. Ensure all CSI standards are followed. Work with sales counselors and customers to resolve any customer service related issues timely. Ensure all prospects and existing customers are called on a regular basis.
- Four Year College Degree Preferred
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Valid Real Estate Sales License or Real Estate Broker License in specific states
- 6+ years of proven sales experience both in-house and field sales
- 3+ years of proven territory or multi-site management experience
- Home building or related industry preferred
- Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasively
- Proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook. C3 or JD Edwards database experience a plus!
- Proven ability of being customer centric by seeking solutions from the customer’s perspective
- Proven ability to lead and execute effective training sessions or conduct strong oral presentations
- Makes quick and accurate decisions based heavily on facts, data and/or metrics
- Action oriented, with the drive to push sales and marketing efforts to successful closure
- Strong experience in delivering high quality customer service programs. JDP experience a plus!
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities including motivating teams, employee development, conflict management, and being results oriented
- Ability to connect with people, and develop and maintain professional relationships
- Strong ability to work within a team-setting, inclusive of other’s ideas, and a willingness to cooperate
- Understands market and industry trends
- Ability to work a flexible schedule on a consistent basis, including evenings, weekend and holidays
- Travel required weekly to communities from core San Francisco Bay to Fresno
- Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner to potential buyers and external brokers to reinforce goodwill and profitability for the company
