The Chobani Sales Director (Costco) will drive the strategy, business development and execution of the Chobani business at this top customer. This role will partner cross functionally with Commercial Development, Customer Finance, Supply Chain and New Product Development to develop and deliver a winning plan, both for existing yogurt business and additional categories introduced to the club channel.
Responsibilities
- Dynamic, thought leadership in the development Chobani’s go-to-market strategy at Costco that delivers volume and revenue targets
- Oversee daily management of one direct report (NAM) and lead their personal and professional development at Chobani
- Perform other duties as necessary
- Develop, plan, and execute strategic selling plans to achieve sales objectives including volume, profit, and shopper expense
- Identify and partner in the creation of selling materials to bring impactful and effective information to the Costco buy teams
- Be the proactive voice of club internally: provide integrated customer, consumer, and competitor insights along with actionable recommendations to drive share of mind, resourcing and focus
- Drive and build relationships with region buyers, understand their region needs and influence to grow distribution and volume
- Lead cross functional planning collaboration to deliver accurate volume and trade forecasts to finance, supply chain and commercial development partners
Requirements
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlines
- Highly customer focused with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- 10+ years consumer packaged goods experience including Sales and/or Category Management
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Proficient with reporting systems such as IRI and Nielsen
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross functional leadership
- Travel as needed for customer and internal meetings
- Club channel required; Costco experience highly preferred
- Strong and proven leadership skills
