Job Descriprion:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst with a deep understanding of the upstream oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will specialize in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and possess significant experience with ERP data migrations in both Asset (Wells, Tanks, Routes) and/or Land data sets. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting our clients M&A and ERP projects on their Data Management as a Solution (DMaaS) framework.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management and Analysis:

• Extract, clean, and manage data from various sources, ensuring its accuracy and relevance.
• Formatting of required data into the required views and extracts for processing and loading to either DMaaS or a Target system.

1. M&A Support:

• Data extraction will be placed into a proprietary load set for consumption on a scheduled basis from source systems to target systems.
• Conduct post-merger integration analysis to track performance and ensure success metrics are met.
• Collaborate with the M&A team to provide data extraction, transformation, and loading to the Target systems.

1. ERP Implementation:

• Support the ERP installation process by extracting current data structures and ensuring smooth data migration to the future data structures.
• Analize, format, and load legacy data sets to the new data structures using the DMaaS platform.
• Provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement post-ERP installation.

1. Reporting and Visualization:

• Utilize data visualization tools to represent data in a clear and concise manner.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for project management to track key performance indicators.

1. Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work closely with various client departments to ensure data integrity and usability.

1. Continuous Learning and Improvement:

• Proactively recommend process improvements based on analytical findings.
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in data analytics, upstream oil & gas, M&A strategies, and ERP best practices.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in data analysis tools like R, Python, SQL, and advanced Excel functions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Enertia, W Energy, Pak Software, SAP, Quorum
• Proven expertise in M&A and ERP data migrations
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the upstream oil and gas sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of the oil and gas environment from assets to revenue and JIB.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or similar.
