MDC Precision is a mid-size manufacturing company headquartered in Hayward, CA. MDC will embark on a significant multi-year transformation endeavor – a major ERP implementation with six major business value streams including O2C (order-to-cash), S2P (source-to-pay), I2D (inventory-to-delivery), F2P (forecast-to-plan), P2P (plan-to-produce) and R2R (record-to-report).
We are seeking a highly motivated, dedicated, and talented individual to join our team as anERP Program Coordinator. Harmonizing, standardizing, and simplifying business processes at enterprise level is one of key program objectives.
This role reports to the ERP Program Director directly who provides an oversight of the entire ERP program. This individual, under direction, plans, organizes, and manages day-to-day program activities and provides program management support throughout the life of the program. In this role the coordinator prepares presentations, tracks the program progress, keeps communication flowing between the various teams to ensure smooth day to day operations and communications within the program.
Responsibilities/Duties
PMO Coordinator’s duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Track and reconcile work hours/travel expenses submitted by the implementation partner team and present the summary to the ERP Program Director
- Conduct project reviews and surveys to provide insights into the program performance and identify successful and unsuccessful elements
- Coordinate and schedule various project meetings/events; prepare presentations and meeting minutes; communicate key take-aways after meetings
- Work closely and assist our implementation vendor’s ERP Project Manager to plan and track project schedule, status, collect feedback and perform continuous quality improvement
- Maintain program calendar and ensure team’s onsite vs. remote working schedule is well-coordinated and communicated
- Conduct various follow-ups with project team members, business/IT partners and implementation partners on project open items and pending decisions to ensure timely issue resolution
- Respond to program inquiries, direct, and escalate important questions and issues to the ERP Project Manager promptly
- Work closely with HR partners to perform resource onboarding to ensure all the necessary steps, knowledge, and documents are well-prepared and communicated
Required Experience
- Bachelors Business Degree or equivalent experience
- Willing to be coached to perform tasks as specified by supervisor
- Produces excellent documents and presentations showing a great command of formatting, fonts, graphics, tables, spreadsheet presentation
- Ability to prepare reports, analysis, summaries and present findings and recommendations.
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-starter but willing to ask for help when needed
- Demonstrated planning and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Experience
- Project Management tools
- System implementation or large project experiences
Location: Remote (Hybrid preferred)
Start date: July 10, 2023
Contract term: 3 months with extension.
Hourly rate: $40-$60/hr on 1099.
Hours: 8am – 5pm PST
