Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients is seeking an experience Business Solutions Analyst, with extensive experience in the financial modules of Oracle or other ERPS to join their team! The primary responsibility of the IT Business Solutions Analyst (ERP) is to spearhead the understanding of the team's business requirements. This entails collaborating with both the business and technology sectors to gather development and management prerequisites. In this role, one takes the lead in validating and documenting the business and system requirements. Acting as a pivotal facilitator within the IT organization, they serve as a liaison connecting the business and IT teams, assuming responsibility for a technology solution that aligns with the business request. During the project/solution's initial stages, this position collaborates with multiple teams to ensure the accuracy of business cases and the fulfillment of the business need.

Qualifications of the right candidate

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a relevant role, such as accounting, finance, or IT, specifically within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in working with an ERP system.
• Manufacturing experience with a solid understanding of Finance.
• Experience with ERP systems like NetSuite, Oracle, or Macola.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or information technologies, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated expertise in data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Advanced computer skills.
• 5+ years of BA experience with ERP modules (Specifically Finance and Accounting Modules)
• Possess skills and experience in Finance and Accounting methodologies.

Responsibilities of the right candidate

• Applying Best Practices to evaluate, select, and develop software components and hardware requirements for the ERP Platform, focusing on quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity of applications. Also responsible for ensuring functional application interfaces and usability.
• Developing a roadmap for the migration and modernization capabilities of the enterprise portfolio's ERP financial services, outlining the transition from the current to the future state.
• Creating short-term and long-term roadmaps aligned with migration and modernization services to the cloud.
• Collaborating with development, sales, and delivery teams to discuss requirements and incorporate feedback into the roadmap.
• Designing the modernization strategy, tools, applications, databases, and integration components. Collaborating with the team to choose appropriate migration methods (re-host, re-factor, re-architect, re-platform, containerization, etc.).
• Utilizing extensive knowledge and experience as an architect specializing in ERP Financial services to analyze and translate market insights, business information, and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint for modernizing ERP Financial services.
• Working with enterprise architects, information security, and application infrastructure teams to develop an optimal conceptual and cost-effective migration and modernization architectural design for ERP Financial services.
• Documenting the architecture design of ERP Financial services, taking into account industry standard architectural frameworks.
• Ensuring that the architecture and design of ERP Financial services offering are optimized for digital discovery consumption and extensibility.
• Understanding client needs and use case scenarios, translating them into innovative and differentiated ERP Financial services offering architecture.
• Assisting in the design of applications to automate business processes and fulfill business requirements. The design should be adaptable to multiple platforms and may consist of various software packages and custom components.
• Supporting the design and delivery of Application Cloud Modernization Solutions, including:Developing a modernization/migration architecture solution for the Finance ERP Platform.
• Conducting competitive research and analysis on migration and modernization of ERP Financial application products.
