About Darcy Partners

Darcy Partners is a leading technology-focused market intelligence platform for the energy industry. Our customers are some of the most forward-looking and innovative energy companies, and they become members of the Darcy network because we help them find and deploy emerging technologies that help solve some of their toughest challenges. Darcy is a mission-driven company determined to accelerate the innovation cycle of the energy sector and enable our customers to operate more efficiently and more sustainably. The company has grown rapidly in recent years and after a recently announced financing, we are well-positioned for continued rapid growth.

Our member-driven model is designed to break down the barriers to industry collaboration, allowing energy companies big and small to learn from each other. We create value for our customers in a variety of ways, but one of our best-known offerings is our ability to connect our customers with the thousands of dynamic startups working to sustainably change the world’s energy ecosystem. Our unique software platform allows our customers to attend Darcy Live events and access our market research, innovator database, and technology frameworks. Every day we empower a diverse array of energy companies to access new technologies and accelerate their own innovation processes.

Why Work at Darcy?

· You enjoy a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment in a growing company

· You are passionate about the energy industry and want to spend your day working on relevant and important issues, trends, and technologies in the energy ecosystem

· You want to help industry leaders access and deploy new technologies

· You love being around and exposed to startups and draw inspiration from working with the innovators and leaders who are powering the sustainable production of critical energy resources

· You want to work in a challenging role that will push you to develop new strengths

· You want to be at a company and in a role where you will never doubt the answer to the question, “Am I making a difference through my work?”

About the Role

The Research Team provides unique insights about emerging technologies to Darcy’s customers, primarily via three key channels:

  • Darcy Connect – a unique and proprietary software platform that allows customers to interact with innovators and each other as well as access the world’s most curated database of energy technology startups
  • Darcy Live – weekly events that showcase the most exciting emerging technology companies and address strategic technology areas
  • Darcy Concierge – Darcy’s Research Team works with customers directly to solve pressing technology priorities while also ensuring that content can be utilized for the benefit of other Darcy members

The Sustainability Program is one of Darcy’s fastest growing and most important research verticals. As the industry grapples with the challenges of the Energy Transition and ESG trends, Oil & Gas operators are increasingly turning to Darcy to help them access, vet, and deploy the technologies that drive sustainable production. The Darcy Sustainability research vertical has generated dozens of field deployments, representing a huge positive ROI for both the industry, the environment, and other stakeholders. Come join this dynamic and elite team within Darcy!

Responsibilities

  • Become an active user of the Darcy Connect software platform and contribute to the continuous refinement of the Platform’s information (e.g., innovator storefronts)
  • Identify innovative technology providers and startups; engage them in primary research to understand technology solutions and value propositions, leading to in-depth company profiles
  • Engage with Darcy’s customers to understand their challenges and technology needs in technology areas such as emissions reduction, water management, and oilfield electrification
  • Work as part of a cross-functional team with other Darcy team members in research, sales / business development, and solutions engineering to meet customer success goals
  • Synthesize information and create proprietary Darcy frameworks to assist Darcy customers in understanding the landscape of a given technology trend or application
  • Prepare and host Darcy Live virtual events covering Sustainability topics (often 150+ technical attendees from the E&P industry)
  • Author insightful and engaging blog posts and articles for Darcy’s members as needed
