Freelancer - Cegid Y2 Expert - 100% Remote - F/M

WE ARE HIRING for VISEO USA a permanent (or a freelancer) expert on Y2, with project management skills. You will manage a team of 5 English speakers’ consultants, leading some scoping committees and customizing the solution for our final US client.

Kindly nothe this is a remote role. All locations are possible.

What are we going to do together?

You will work on point-of-sale (POS) management solutions, which are in full development as part of the growth of connected digital commerce. Beyond the historical services of these solutions (the functions of sales management, stock and in-store collection), they evolve to integrate, for example :

• Omnichannel sales experiences (multi-channel fulfillment, click & collect, ...)
• The digitalization of the point of sale (clienteling, cataloging)
• Unified inventory management

As such, you will intervene on projects for the implementation of Retail POS and Onmichannel solutions in the broad sense, projects of evolution and implementation of new services / functionalities or international deployments / market expansions.

IT Retail Project Manager Responsabilities :

• Ensure alignment with various roles within the client’s organization, including Product Owner, Scrum Master, development, QA and Business leads.
• Manage the different phases of end-to-end projects (design, specifications, implementation, acceptance and deployment/release management) within a mostly agile framework with some waterfall aspects.
• Coordinate activités across third party vendor development teams, including SOW,, technical requirements, level of effort (LOE) and timelines to align with client goals / business needs
• Lead a évolutive solutioning thought process, with an emphasis on core functionality and configuration, over customizations and development where possible.
• Perform project framing.
• Ensure effective change management with the client's teams.
• Lead and/or support a team of technical and functional consultants in the collection of needs and the functional or technical design phase.
• Manage and/or participate in the management of the project (ensure the governance and coordination of the project, the monitoring of the project schedule and costs, manage the risks).

Who are you?

• You have a good command of English, and are comfortable working in international environments.
• Higher education - engineering school BAC +4/5 -, you have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience, ideally acquired in the world of retail / luxury, and on POS / point of sale, Omnichannel and ecommerce solutions.
• You have expert experience with respect to Cegid Y2 from a configuration, integration and customization perspective for both POS and omni-channel.
• Motivated, with good interpersonal and writing skills, you are recognized for your rigor, your analytical and synthesis skills and your proactivity, and have strong experience in project management.

• Manage and/or participate in the management of the project (ensure the governance and coordination of the project, the monitoring of the project schedule and costs, manage the risks).
