We are looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial sales professional to join us as a Sales Executive (Energy, Oil & Gas) in North America.
Job description
As a Sales Executive for Energy and Oil & Gas, you will be focused on current and prospective direct customer opportunities in North America, developing strategies to increase Dimension Software's product and service sales alongside our partner network.
You’ll have domain knowledge of the Energy and Oil & Gas sub-segments (Up/Mid-Stream O&G, Renewables, Power Generation, Power T&D), how customers work and how they buy technology. You’ll be our subject matter expert for positioning how the Dimension Software solutions deliver value to our customers.
The role requires strong communication and collaboration skills combined with a sense of urgency to drive revenue. You'll have worked in a technology-driven organization before and have demonstrated experience and skills in nurturing industry and customer relationships that have produced sales outcomes.
You’ll be expected to hit the ground running with current opportunities and build your own book of business. You will have access to Dimension Software's sales and technical enablement resources, as well as key product knowledge experts to assist you in your efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and support events and trade-shows to assist in customer engagements and lead generating activities
- Proactively prospect and build the sales pipeline by via outbound calling, e-mail/e-marketing, networking, social media and other direct marketing/inside sales methods
- Work with and promote a Partner ecosystem
- Qualify sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria; driving leads through the sales process
- Execute sales and marketing activities to drive and close sales of Dimension Software products, and services
- Update and maintain leads, contacts, and accounts status in Salesforce CRM
- Management including account research, contact discovery, sales engagement, product presentation, and opportunity creation.
- Provide activity updates and reporting to Sales & Marketing Management and other stakeholders as assigned

What you will do
You will work as part of a team, developing long-term customer relationships with prospects and customers, representing the full spectrum of Dimension Software solution offerings. You will partner with other sales representatives and/or agents to maximize profit generation from accounts. As a direct result of your activity you will lead all facets of business development within your territory.
What we look for
- 5 years related, progressively responsible field sales experience; 3 years selling within the Process Engineering field for example OSIsoft’s PI System.
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaborative skills.
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Willingness to travel (30-50%)
- Bachelor’s in business, engineering, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in business.
- Might suit somebody with SCADA, DCS, control system, IIOT experience.
