Job Summary:

As a per diem nursing marketplace platform, Nursa is dedicated to reshaping the future of nursing by connecting qualified and compassionate nurses with our partner healthcare facilities. As the Clinical Talent Specialist at Nursa, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and evaluating nursing candidates to identify those who possess the necessary skills, qualifications, and attributes that align with the unique needs of our partner healthcare facilities.
As the Clinical Talent Specialist for Nursa, you will contribute significantly to our platform's success by ensuring we connect qualified and skilled nurses with our partner healthcare facilities, ultimately enhancing patient care and supporting nurses in finding fulfilling opportunities. Your expertise in nursing and recruitment will be pivotal in maintaining strong connections with our partner hospitals and enabling successful nurse placements through the Nursa platform.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with enterprise team and department heads to develop a clear understanding of our partner facilities' unique nursing requirements, including: specialized skills, certifications, and experience levels needed for various roles and specialties.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions, evaluations, and approval status of the partner hospitals
  • Maintain a network of potential nursing candidates for future openings, anticipating growing metro needs, and proactively identifying suitable candidates.
  • Find and establish relationships with candidates who match the specific requirements of our partner hospitals. Convert these candidates to active clinicians on the platform.
  • Collaborate closely with the Clinician Review Specialists to improve the velocity of clinician conversions.
  • Stay abreast of trends and changes in the nursing profession, healthcare industry, and recruitment strategies to continually improve the recruitment process at Nursa.
  • Utilize various recruitment methods, such as job boards, professional networks, social media, and nursing associations, to attract potential nursing candidates.
  • Report, analyze, and make recommendations to increase clinician conversion using both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Provide an exceptional, positive and professional experience for candidates, keeping them informed and engaged
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Business Management, Human Resources or a related field.
Experience & Credentials
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
  • Able to leverage data to create action plans for growing clinician pools in new and existing regions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar software.
  • At least 2 years experience as a Clinical Talent Specialist/Nurse Recruiter or in a similar recruitment role within the healthcare industry.
  • Ability to analyze candidate qualifications and assess their suitability for various nursing roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of nursing roles, responsibilities, and specialties.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in handling candidate information.
Preferred:
  • Active nursing license and relevant certifications.
