Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize innovative sourcing strategies, including Boolean search techniques, to identify and engage candidates through various databases and LinkedIn. Excite passive candidates about the exciting and impactful career opportunities at CONMED.
  • Tackle tough positions head-on by troubleshooting, cold calling, brainstorming, and employing problem-solving skills.
  • Evaluate, research, and recommend systematic or process improvements within the recruiting function.
  • Engage in stretch assignments throughout the year to drive organizational excellence.
  • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR partners to identify essential job qualifications, develop sourcing strategies, and assess candidates. Coach and influence managers in identifying and securing the best talent for their teams. Foster managers' skills in equitable and valid hiring practices.
  • Provide guidance and support in interpreting and administering company policies, procedures, and guidelines. Advocate for equitable application and counsel others accordingly.
  • Assist with ad hoc administrative duties, including scheduling candidate interviews, coordinating background checks and drug screens, and facilitating excellent relocation services for candidates.
  • Demonstrate persuasive written and verbal communication when engaging with candidates, hiring managers, and HR partners. Maintain organized, accurate, and effective communication throughout the recruiting process.
  • Spearhead the entire recruiting process, leveraging our cutting-edge applicant tracking system, from requisition approval to candidate onboarding. Timely and accurate disposition of candidates is paramount.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to ensure quality of hire metrics are consistently met.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and laws throughout the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Devise creative advertising and outreach strategies to effectively reach your target candidate audience, emphasizing diversity. Build pipelines of highly qualified candidates for current and future openings.
