POSITION SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Department Director and or the designated representative of the Director, performs cardiac diagnostics as qualified and authorized. Performs secretarial duties as required by the Cardiopulmonary department.

JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS
1. Demonstrates an understanding of and adherence to the HMHD Compliance Plan.
2. Conduct reflects HMHD's values and a commitment to HMHD's Code of Conduct.
3. Attends the required corporate integrity and compliance training and education programs.
4. Demonstrates proficiency in understanding the materials presented during the corporate integrity and compliance training and education program.
5. Complies with all HIPAA standards.
6. Electrocardiograms on outpatients and infrequent inpatients in a timely manner.
7. Assure Heartstation is accurate and without errors.
8. Enter patient charges into Hospital Information System (Meditech) as necessary.
9. Set up and discontinue holter monitoring
10. Pre-register Sleep Lab patients
11. Coordinate outpatient schedule with inpatient needs.
12. Copy and fax, to appropriate physician's offices, OP diagnostic tests as needed
13. Coordinate Cardiopulmonary with out of town physicians for interpretation of tests (e.g. EEG, Pedi echo, neonatal EKG, neonatal echos), and out of town physicians and cardio resources (e.g. stress echo)
14. Obtain log sheets from EKG machines as necessary.
15. Stock floors as necessary
16. Assist in gathering and reporting QA as necessary
17. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Cardiopulmonary
18. Updates and keeps current log sheet on diagnostic procedures.
19. Answers phone and greets customers in a friendly, courteous, and prompt manner.
20. Facilitates communication between technicians and Doctors.
21. Consistently performs duties and responsibilities with minimal direct supervision required.
22. Acts as RT aide by facilitating equipment change out, equipment cleaning and stocking.
23. Orders supplies from non stock supply book and delivers to material mgt upon completion.
