Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist with previous public sector sales experience to help our organization grow by prospecting, developing new business opportunities, and helping us win new government contracts. This position will have a competitive base salary with benefits and uncapped commission. Candidates with at least two (2) years of Federal Healthcare sales experience, and a demonstrable track record of past success are strongly encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience developing new leads, prospecting (cold calling), following up, and building/managing a robust pipeline of qualified federal contract opportunities.
- Existing relationships with decision makers across multiple Federal Health Agencies
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills as well as data entry (CRM)
- Experience in all aspects of federal proposal development.
- Ability to seek, assess, and develop high quality teaming partner relationships to support bid and post-win contract performance.
- Knowledge of the competitive landscape, including an understanding of key contract vehicles used.
*Only those candidates with prior experience selling and/or delivering Federal Health services within the VA, DoD, CDC, CMS, USDA, FDA, NIH, HHS, etc. will be considered.

- Bachelor’s degree
