Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Specialist and Marketing Associate to lead all aspects of administrative tasks, and to help design and implement a marketing strategy that will reach our target audiences and a sales strategy to convert them to customers.

Responsibilities include:

Admin Facing


  • Working with leadership team to provide timely responses, assisting with standing regular meetings, and follow through with projects deliverables
  • First point of contact for leads & client communications
  • Timekeeping, management of CRSLI contractors
  • Drafting proposals for new clients
  • Assisting with other monthly duties and projects as assigned
  • Providing services to improve Ajusted’s (AKA/DBA CRSLI) capacity to streamline the planning, procurement, execution and completion of projects
  • CRSLI Academy management (securing venue, housing, travel, food, books and materials), which includes coordinating with partners to organize/plan Academies
  • Managing database and spreadsheet updates, and other software (ex. Gusto, QuickBooks, Zoom, HubSpot)
  • Keep track of AP/AR - invoicing & collections

Marketing Facing


  • Brand-building and audience engagement, creating and curating inspiring content, and reviewing all external-facing marketing and communications for brand fidelity, effective messaging, and attractive design.
  • Monitoring data reporting on feedback and engagement with various materials
  • Developing, monitoring, and assessing goals for audience reach and engagement, leveraging our analytic tools.
  • Developing strategies/activities to get our message out to education leaders, partners, funders, mass media, and education sector audiences through our website, social media, media relations, paid advertising, free materials, and coordinated thought leadership campaigns.


The ideal candidate will be experienced with the following qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proactive in solving customer issues and business challenges
  • Solid analytical skills and the ability to generate charts and reports
  • Clear copywriting and editing skills with work samples available for review
  • Ability to streamline processes and create systems
  • Experience in event planning
  • Masterfully able to meet all expected deadlines — with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing or related field
  • Experience with the US education system
  • HubSpot
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills
  • Preference given to candidates with proven ability to meet and exceed business objectives/targets and track record in achieving said business objectives; career background must demonstrate a clear growth trajectory with increasing levels of responsibility and experience with creating/implementing business development strategy
  • Software experience preferred:
  • Gusto
  • Access to reliable high-speed internet, computer equipment, and smartphone (Required)
  • Experience in a marketing, sales, fundraising or partner development role.
  • Administrative experience or project management: 2+ years (Preferred)
  • Service-oriented with the ability to adjust priorities as needed
  • Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines
  • Marketing Analytics tools
  • Proven success planning and implementing a multi-year marketing strategy
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) and content management system (CMS) platforms
  • Microsoft Office
