Field Operations Specialist Remote

Employer is seeking a Field Operations Specialist to join our team. As a national leader in providing medical equipment and services, we empower patients to manage their health and treatment at home. The ideal candidate will travel to various locations and focus on key initiatives, such as reducing held items, increasing billing percentages, and training new hires. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee new hire and continuing education training for location personnel
• Reduce held items and increase O2 & CPAP billing % for assigned location(s)
• Obtain necessary paperwork to transition new patients received from asset purchase strategies
• Monitor key metrics and develop strategies to combat negative trends
• Identify and address issues related to location operations

Qualifications

• One year directly-related experience in Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetics Orthotics & Supplies (DMEPOS), billing and collections, and training
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, interpret instructions, and maintain confidentiality
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field preferred
• Experience in medical field and administrative record management
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service background

Physical Demands

• Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or paperwork
• Travel extensively via airplane and/or vehicle
• Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking or listening
• Lift and carry up to 50lbs during travel

Technical Abilities

• Internet navigation and research
• Rotech systems, including eIntake and to a lesser degree IMBS
• Email transmission and communication
• Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone, and computer
• Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power-Point, etc.
