Job Description

This Product Marketing Specialist will be in charge of creating and generating a variety of content formats, from videos and podcasts to blog posts and social media content, catering to both LGGBU Public Administration and Public Safety. This role would involve collaborative work with other members of the marketing sales and support team to ensure that the created content resonates with the company's messaging and objectives.

  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product management, sales, marketing, and customer support teams to align messaging, gather feedback, and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints. Collaborate on product development, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends. Analyze competitors and gather insights to inform product positioning and messaging strategies. Identify target markets and segments for our products.
  • Product Positioning and Messaging: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine the product's positioning and messaging. Understand the unique selling points, competitive advantages, and target audience to create compelling value propositions.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches or feature updates. Identify target segments, determine pricing strategies, create marketing campaigns, and coordinate with sales teams to ensure successful product adoption.
  • Content Creation: Develop and generate a variety of content formats, including videos, podcasts, blog posts, social media content, and sales collateral. Create compelling and persuasive content that effectively communicates the value proposition and benefits of our products.
  • Market Communication: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital advertising, social media, email marketing, events, and public relations. Ensure consistent and effective communication of our product messaging to the target audience.
  • Government Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that all content produced adheres to relevant government compliance standards and regulations specific to the public safety and government sectors. Stay updated on regulatory changes and incorporate them into content creation processes.
  • Lead Generation Content: Develop content assets focused on lead generation, such as downloadable whitepapers, eBooks, and case studies that showcase the benefits and value of Oracle Public Safety and Oracle NetSuite for Government solutions. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create landing pages and lead capture forms to effectively collect and qualify leads.
  • Support and Training Resources: Collaborate with the support team to develop educational resources, knowledge base articles, and training materials that help customers effectively use Oracle Public Safety and Oracle NetSuite for Government solutions. Ensure that the content addresses common challenges, provides step-by-step instructions, and promotes self-service options to enhance customer satisfaction and reduce support ticket volume.
  • Solution Integration and Customization: Collaborate with product management and technical teams to understand the integration capabilities and customization options of Oracle Public Safety and Oracle NetSuite for Government. Create content that highlights these capabilities and demonstrates how the solutions can be tailored to meet the unique needs of government organizations.
  • Customer Advocacy: Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their needs, and identify opportunities for product improvements. Leverage customer success stories and testimonials to showcase the value and impact of our products.
  • Content Localization and Adaptation: Collaborate with international teams or agencies to adapt and localize content for different regions or target markets. Ensure that content is culturally appropriate, accurately translated, and effectively resonates with local audiences.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure our products remain competitive in the market. Attend industry conferences, participate in relevant webinars, and continuously expand knowledge and skills in product marketing.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze key marketing metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies, make informed decisions, and report on the success of marketing efforts.
  • Sales Enablement: Support the sales team by providing them with the necessary tools, resources, and training to effectively sell the product. Create sales presentations, product training materials, competitive analysis documents, and sales collateral to enable the sales team to communicate the value of our products to customers.
