The Sales Support Specialist III will serve as a liaison between customers and the company regarding commercial product support and application engineering. This position requires multi-tasking to accomplish the above-mentioned requirements and could require involvement in delivery, order status, and problem resolution. Daily activities include a high degree of interaction with internal business units, field sales team, Commercial Sales Engineers, and distribution channel. This position requires a high level of understanding of commercial markets and products sold in those markets.
This position will serve our Air Conditioning Division. This position is based in Fort Smith, AR.
What You’ll Do

• Assist distribution with product application and provide detailed product information; work with factory, third party vendor or other company warehouses to obtain product.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Maintain working relationship with Commercial Product Manager and Marketing/Communications to achieve accurate and timely specification data on all commercial products.
• Support the distribution sales organization by providing commercial application support and selling products and services typically via telephone/computer.
• Provide application support to Commercial Sales Engineers by providing product selections, submittal, and quotes for the “plan & spec” and” design build” construction market.
• Maintain working relationship w/ specified architects, engineers, general contractors, and mechanical contractors
• Develop and maintain competitive pricing and product data for future development, benchmarking, and analysis.
• Occasional travel required
• Assist distribution with product selection and provide support to bundle products as needed for a complete job-sourcing package.
• Responding to sales leads from Commercial Sales Engineers and field sales team
• Assist customer service on commercial product selection and cross reference

Job Qualifications
What You Need

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Skype, and other web-based applications used for enterprise-grade communications such as telephony and CRM platforms.
• 5+ years of experience in sales and/or customer service related field.
• Ability to demonstrate exceptional follow-up and professional assertiveness in a way that engages and identifies customers to want to do business with Rheem.
• Bachelors Degree in Sales, Business, or related field.
• Data entry proficiency without defects (proofreading, spelling, and grammar checks).
• Self-accountability, commitment & professionalism within a business environment.
• HVACR Industry Experience HIGHLY preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
• Excellent professional communication skills – skills with technical knowledge.
• Adaptable to changes in priorities.

How To Stand Out

• Commercial HVAC experience highly preferred
• HVACR experience HIGHLY preferred
