In the role, you'll serve as the subject matter expert on WorkDay and will be able to support required Workday modules. Both highly analytical and front-facing, the role provides Workday support to primary stakeholders and the business in general and is responsible for troubleshooting, configuration, maintenance, and testing of Workday. This contract is expected to last through the end of 2023, may be converted to permanent, and pays between $90/hr - $110/hr. DOE.
Immediate REMOTE-BASED opening for a WorkDay Specialist with a company based in San Diego, CA who possesses:

• High level of HRIS competency and highly effective in time and project management.
• Bachelor's degree
• General knowledge of HR, Payroll, and Benefits business processes.
• *preferred* experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry
• 2+ years of relevant WorkDay experience that includes WorkDay Recruiting, reporting responsibilities, Security, and Talent Management

Key Responsibilities Include

• Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and increase confidence and communication with the Workday Support Team.
• Works with stakeholders and corporate training to develop and deliver training to end users.
• Assist with overseeing the integrity of data in Workday.
• Creates, maintains, and improves Workday custom reports, dashboards and analytics across all aspects of Workday.
• Provides Tier I to Tier III support for Workday HCM.
• Works with and provides direct support for stakeholders, consultants, and support vendors to define, implement and maintain Workday configurations and workflows for supported Modules.
• Demonstrated experience in the configuration, integration, maintenance, and reporting of the Workday HCM, Recruiting, Benefits, Integration functional modules, and platform.
• Stays updated with Workday releases and roadmap and identifies opportunities to leverage new features and functionality to improve business processes.
• Serves as project lead on Workday configuration and enhancements and is responsible for project design and ownership from beginning to end.
• Participate in the research, design, development, testing, delivery, and training of new and modified business processes, reports, and tools.
• Assists Workday Support Team and Business with the research, planning, and testing upgrades/updates.
• Process and manage helpdesk Workday tickets as applicable.
