The role:

We are looking for a Payroll Generalist to process payroll, assist with compliance registrations and reconciliations, and other related tasks for our client base.


This is a full-time, fully remote job opportunity (open to candidates residing in the US only).

NOTE: You must live in the United States.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with multiple entities to resolve filing issues for state/local compliance
  • Assist clients in onboarding/terminating employees if necessary
  • Partner with client to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Run periodic payroll for multiple clients in the US and Internationally
  • Communicate with clients regarding payroll issues
  • Process employee and company updates (compensation, job titles, departments, health insurance, COBRA, workers comp)
  • Assist in registering clients for state and local compliance
  • Other admin-type tasks as needed including light AR collections, pulling bank statements, and other filings


Required qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and possess strong organizational skills
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Previous experience as HR representative, payroll administrator, or similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Familiarity with software such as Rippling, Gusto, Deel, and Asana are a plus, but not required


Job Type: Full-time


Compensation: $50,000-$63,000
