About the Role:


We're seeking the first full-time Recruiter at Ghost where you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our company's growth by leading end-to-end recruitment for Engineering, Product, and diverse business functions. Your efforts will help build the foundation of our talent team, enabling us to fuel Ghost's success story.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with leadership, including Ghost's founders, and hiring managers to define search requirements and align search strategies throughout the entire process.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize searches, enhance efficiency, and provide valuable insights to guide hiring partners.
  • Employ diverse strategies to cultivate strong and diverse candidate pipelines, leveraging focused sourcing, employer branding, events, and more.
  • Contribute to shaping the Talent function at Ghost, from implementing recruiting best practices to supporting onboarding and professional development efforts.
  • Lead comprehensive talent searches across Engineering, Product, and various business departments, targeting varying levels of seniority.


Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of full-cycle Technical Recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including in-house roles.
  • Strong communication skills, with a professional yet friendly approach.
  • Expertise in attracting senior passive candidates and building diverse pipelines.
  • Passionate about team building and creating exceptional candidate experiences.
  • Possesses a growth mindset, adapts to startup dynamics, and embraces flexibility.
  • Thrives on active and data-driven problem-solving, optimizing processes with insightful analysis.
  • Flourishes in a cross-functional, fluid work environment while maintaining a sense of humor.
  • Proven success in closing challenging engineering roles with agility to lead searches for various functions like Sales, Finance, and Operations.


Compensation & Benefits: In addition to a competitive base salary, equity, and a range of benefits, we offer a dynamic work environment that fosters growth and collaboration. The base salary range for this role is $110,000-150,000, based on candidate-specific factors including experience, skillset, and location. This is an in-office role based in Los Angeles, CA.
