Job Description

This is a contingent (contractor) position - Duration 1 year+

Workstyle: Hybrid (2 days a week at our Torrance, CA HQ)


: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic recruitment team. As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring top talent for our engineering, information security, and systems positions. You will be responsible for full lifecycle recruiting, developing effective sourcing strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to both candidates and hiring managers.


What You Will Do:


Full Lifecycle Recruiting:

  • Source, screen, and assess candidates to identify those who best match the technical and cultural needs of the organization.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process for engineering, information security, and systems positions, from job requisition to candidate onboarding.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews to evaluate candidates' technical skills, experience, and potential cultural fit.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop comprehensive job descriptions.

Sourcing Strategy:

  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest recruitment trends and technologies to continuously improve sourcing methods.
  • Utilize various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events, to identify and engage potential candidates.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for recurring and critical positions.

Customer Service Focus:

  • Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, understanding their specific technical hiring needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for candidates, addressing their questions and concerns promptly and professionally.

Filling Open Technical Positions:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to coordinate interview schedules and facilitate the decision-making process.
  • Present well-qualified candidates to hiring managers, highlighting their technical capabilities and alignment with the organization's values.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define candidate requirements and hiring timelines.
  • Negotiate job offers and support successful candidates through the onboarding process.


What You Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience minimum 5 years as a technical recruiter, with a focus on information technology, information security, and systems positions.
  • Strong understanding of full lifecycle recruiting and technical hiring processes.


Competencies:

  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on candidate and stakeholder relationship management.
  • Familiarity with technical concepts and terminology to effectively assess candidates' technical skills and experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple technical positions simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective sourcing strategies and build talent pipelines.
