Job Description
Overview


The HRIS Product Specialist will help build, implement, and support a firmwide SAP SuccessFactors deployment, integrations and ongoing enhancements. This is a key role bridging between the business, the technical team and our implementation partner, focusing on delivering best possible service and user experience to employees within the organization. This role develops streamlined and effective user experiences within the Human Resources process lifecycle for both the administrator and end-user and requires a strong background in HR processes as well as HR technology strategies and systems to effectively provide employees a well-designed work reality. The HRIS Product Specialist will partner closely with HR functions to identify, enhance and implement their business processes against the technology strategy to leverage system automations and optimize moments that matter for employees and provide business leaders with the data needed to make informed decisions.


Responsibilities


  • Rationalize business objectives and problems and identifies alternative solutions, performs feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis and suggests the best course of action
  • Work closely with project and product management teams with the purpose of providing analysis updates, removing task blockers to facilitate business or technical decisions in the company’s best interest
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with all stakeholders and designated contacts, to share business system and domain knowledge
  • Contribute to cross functional project teams that address enterprise-wide transformation initiatives or IT infrastructure needs.
  • Identify business risk and issues, and detail business impact for mitigation plans, including any handover or operational early life support for a smooth transition
  • Stay up-to date on industry best practices, releases and capabilities of the SuccessFactors modules.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of existing business processes and systems, documenting process models and task analysis, to identify areas for potential process improvement
  • Analyze, Design, Configure and Test business solutions in Successfactors.
  • Partner with the HR business and users to gather and document business and technical requirements and ensure proper traceability of the business requirements through the solution design and delivery process.


Qualifications
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills.

  • Strong technical knowledge in SuccessFactors with the ability to translate functional requirements into system configurations.

  • 3+ years of demonstrated SAP SuccessFactors design and implementation experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of business and data analysis tools and techniques such as: requirements engineering, structured analysis and design, process mapping and component business modelling, and business process re-engineering
  • Broad understanding of information systems, system architecture and integration standards.
  • Experience working in a large-scale organization who employ people on a wide range of contract types and durations and have both linear and matrix management approaches with multiple countries and entities.
  • Recruiting and Recruiting Marketing
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business or IT Systems Analyst in the Human Resources area
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience to independently lead interactions with business, conduct design sessions in order to understand business challenges and objectives and document the business process requirements
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project lifecycle delivery as a Business Analyst in a technical environment within a complex HR systems landscape
  • Experience in the following SuccessFactors modules preferred
