ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking a VP of Growth & Partnerships to join our growing team at Boost. The VP of Growth & Partnerships will be responsible for overseeing all revenue-generating functions of the company, including sales, marketing, and partner success. The VP of Growth & Partnerships will report directly to the CEO and will work closely with other members of the executive team to drive the company's growth strategy. The VP, Growth & Partnerships will proactively set the vision, develop the market strategy, and instill scalable processes to deliver results.

You are an accomplished sales professional with a track record of success in developing and executing comprehensive strategies that align with company objectives. You excel at building and managing high-performing teams, maintaining key relationships, analyzing metrics, and launching innovative insurance products. You have a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends, and you stay up-to-date with the latest technologies to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of the insurtech space.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and customers to ensure their success and drive revenue growth.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and use this knowledge to inform the company's product development and go-to-market strategies.
- Work closely with the product team to identify market opportunities and develop new innovative insurance products that meet the needs of our target market.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize the sales and marketing strategy.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that the company remains at the forefront of the insurtech space.
- Build and manage a high-performing product marketing team that can effectively launch and promote the company's products to our target market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and customers to ensure the successful adoption of new products and drive revenue growth.
- Work with the product team to ensure that the company's offerings meet the needs of our target market.
- Collaborate with the finance team to develop and manage the company's revenue forecast and budget.
- Build and manage a high-performing sales team that can effectively sell the company's products and services to our target market.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize the go-to-market strategy for new product launches.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and tactics for new product launches.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences to raise brand awareness and generate leads for new products.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for launching new innovative insurance products that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
SKILLS + QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading an organization through rapid growth and scale; developing processes and strategies to enable successful penetration into new markets.
- Roll-Up-Your-Sleeves attitude with the necessary drive and work ethic to maintain our high velocity as the company grows.
- Proven track record of building and managing successful sales and product marketing teams for launching new products.
- Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships.
- Ability to coach, grow and influence others in a highly fast paced and diverse environment in terms of organization culture, experience and seniority.
- Experience managing partner success or channel sales functions in the context of launching new innovative insurance products.
- Commercial awareness of trends and opportunities within business to consumer industries as well as the digital marketing marketplace.
- Seasoned executive with experience building models, conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis, and reporting against models.
- 7+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development with a focus on commercial lines P&C insurance and/or financial services, with specific expertise in launching new innovative insurance products.
- Demonstrated leadership success in a high growth startup/scaleup.
- Deep expertise in building and scaling technology-enabled companies in the financial services space with a specific expertise in insurtech.
- Proactive approach to management with proven ability to build successful teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver to deadlines.
EXTRA CREDIT
- 7+ years of experience in marketing and/or growth marketing, specifically in the commercial lines P&C insurance and/or financial services sectors.
- Experience presenting to the company board as well as prospective and existing investors.
COMPENSATION + BENEFITS
- If you waive this Medical benefit as you can receive it elsewhere, Boost contributes $350 per month to help you pay for it!

- When determining the wage range for this role, several factors are considered, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure & certifications, and other business needs. Geographic differentials associated with the location where the position may be filled have not been adjusted in the disclosed range estimate. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, each case is analyzed appropriately.
- Employee + 1 dependent (spouse or children) - $1.25k
- The pay range is estimated to be between $175,000.00 - $205,000.00 USD per year with double OTE.
