Job Description
Minimum qualifications:
  • 10 years of experience with partner management, negotiations, and strategy and operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15 years of work experience in partnerships
Preferred qualifications:
  • Strong product sensibility, with capability to advocate for and drive key product innovations or opportunities within the DSP and Agency ecosystem
  • Experience working in a partner development environment and working with partnerships at scale, with a track record of effective sales/operations management and a history of achieving business growth goals
  • Experience managing senior leaders and leading dispersed teams across multiple geographies
  • Broad technical knowledge of the digital media ecosystem including Ad Serving, Ad Certifications, RTB, PMPs, Content Management Systems, Header Bidding Solutions, Publisher Ad Management Systems and Creative Solution providers
  • MBA, MS, JD or other advanced degree
About The Job
The Global Partnerships Sellside Monetization team’s vision is to fund the world’s information by enabling content creators. We do this by nurturing an open digital ecosystem for all and developing strong partnerships using the power of scale, insights and people.
The Exchange Platforms Buyer/Monetization team uses our portfolio of product and inventory solutions, including Google Ad Manager, AdMob and AdSense, to help Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), Agencies, Sell-side platforms (SSPs) and other buyers to grow their businesses.
As a Managing Director, you will lead our Global Exchange Platforms/Monetization team responsible for helping grow our partners’ businesses in a complex regulatory environment. The geographical footprint of the business covers North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific. The team contains a wide range of business functions including business development, partner management (direct and scaled), customer analytics, and account management. You'll provide innovative, industry-leading solutions for DSPs, Agencies, SSPs and other buyers to match their needs and demand to publishers and developers. Success in this role includes executing on current strategies and having the leadership to rethink and re-evaluate how we deliver value to our partners. You will work closely with product leadership to build and drive adoption across multiple ads products, and you will be passionate about navigating the organization through a dynamic changing environment.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $294,000-$436,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership on key partner interactions and negotiations with direct involvement across the globe
  • Develop and lead the global Exchange Platforms business strategy and organizational structure, including prioritization, partner management and customer support
  • Manage internal stakeholders and external partners to ship and drive adoption across multiple products, creating a highly transparent and collaborative environment
  • Assess the needs of key customers consistently in order to guide and evolve product and service offerings
  • Lead and create diverse and inclusive teams, driving fair and equitable processes. Motivate teams with inspirational people leadership to execute against the strategy at scale
