Job Description

Senior Manager of Education and Training Role Overview

The Senior Manager of Education and Training at Cosmedix is responsible for building and leading the education and training structure to support all Cosmedix employees and accounts. This role will involve developing a strategy and training path aligned with business objectives. This position reports to the National Sales Director and is based on the East Coast.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain training metrics to evaluate the impact and effectiveness of learning outcomes through business results.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental committees or task forces, as necessary.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as required by leadership to contribute to the business.
  • Create, monitor, and track account visit cadence in support of regional initiatives.
  • Design, pilot, and launch field training programs focused on product knowledge, demos and sales behavior development
  • Train the field team and professional accounts on the Cosmedix assortment and brand DNA.
  • Manage new and ongoing training and development initiatives.
  • Lead the field EDU team in delivering robust training and education tools for the Cosmedix team and accounts.
  • Review and provide feedback to ensure training is relevant, focused, and can be reinforced by behavioral coaching.
  • Facilitate induction for new hires in partnership with NSD and HR teams.
  • Develop and monitor all eLearning platforms for the Cosmedix brand.
  • Conduct on-site account training, providing feedback on account assortment analysis with the field team.
  • Participating in tradeshows, the duties include setup and breakdown of the booth, engage with attendees and provide treatment demonstrations.
  • Ensure strategic quality of goal setting, follow-up, and measurement of E&T activities programs in partnership with National Sales Director.
  • Analyze existing content, identify learning opportunities, and create necessary content to address training needs.
  • Develop and execute product launch strategies alongside the brand.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in skincare education
  • Strong project management experience in successfully managing, delivering, and improving high-quality programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be comfortable working through ambiguity and in a fast-paced dynamic environment with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Must possess a positive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Experience in content creation, adult learning, facilitation and instructional design with a deep understanding of spa clients
  • Ability to work effectively and collaborate with all levels within an organization.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in spa and skincare treatments
  • Knowledge of eLearning platforms
  • Self-directed in planning own work and work of teams.
  • 7+ years of experience in education with solid career progression, including at least three years' experience in B2B or Spa.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; strong organizational skills.
  • Certified/licensed esthetician or cosmetologist required
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 70% of the time
  • Working knowledge of group and corporate dynamics and integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, public communication and facilitation skills and the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
  • Demonstrated ability to employ sound judgment in complex situations;
  • Strong technical aptitude and expertise (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Learning Management Systems)
  • Effective and creative problem-solving skills, strong business acumen;
