Location: Encino/El Segundo (L’Oréal West)


Reports To: VP, Brand Lead

What You Will Learn


This role is the lead for brand education and training within the PPD American Brand DMI’s. The position requires collaboration with Education, Brand Marketing team, Labs and Testing to ensure the best in class offerings for education and training to support the brand. This position is responsible for the creation and deployment of a brand pov on training and career pathing. This role oversees all product testing in collaboration with the PPD American Brands testing center. This role requires strong communication skills, training skills, and ability to work well across multiple stakeholders.
  • Develop business offerings and materials
  • Hair lead on all shoots including: prep in collaboration with artists and Marketing/ Digital teams, oversee hair on-site, manage step by step process
  • Train the trainers in partnership with ets on all classes/ online inspiration flows
  • Product testing and evaluation: lead testing & sourcing of models for testing at the L’Oreal West offices
  • Advocacy lead
  • Champions advocacy program for best communication/ interaction
  • Develop and execute training plans for country artist networks
  • Train the trainers for offline/ live classes
  • Develop brand career path offerings and materials
  • Manage country briefs on education offerings specific to strategy of the market
  • Solidify brand pov on accelerated learning advance materials with new skills and certifications. Write playbook, train the trainers.


Required Qualifications


What We Are Looking For:


  • 3-5+ years experience in corporate environment of beauty or fashion industry required
  • Well-defined organizational skills
  • Strong computer knowledge in Microsoft applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for social media and its dynamics, and particularly Instagram
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Open and adaptable to change
  • Cosmetology License
  • Ability to handle complexity and work with different groups
  • 3-5+ years experience Training trainers and writing education
  • 3+ years of experience as a hairstylist behind the chair
  • Commitment to personal development
  • Professional attitude
  • The ability to function as part of a team
