JOB SUMMARY: The remote Talent Acquisition Associate will focus on the sourcing and hiring of our photo retail associates and team leads. Responsible for the hire-to-onboarding life cycle of non-exempt positions throughout the US, with a focus on West Coast time zone. Ensures a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the company. Takes ownership of interview-to-hire activities and performs efficient and timely communications with candidates and new hires. Works with the Recruiter to develop and maintain a talent pipeline utilizing the company's systems. Uses detail-oriented skillset to manage accurate candidate data throughout the interview-to-onboarding process. Provides advice and consultation to HR Team, Hiring Managers and other stake holders regarding geographical market trends. Represents Pomvom in providing positive impressions and following through. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Reviews resumes, schedules, and conducts video interviews and extends offers for filling hourly open positions, focusing on Retail Associates and Team Lead located in California. Screen candidates to evaluate their skills and understand their motivators and ensures match with position and location needs and requirements. Contacts references to determine a candidate's viability to support our business needs, if required. Manages a high-volume candidate load. West Coast primary region, with some occasional exceptions. Manages time according to candidate pool availability for remote video interviews. Builds strong and positive working relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and organizational leadership. Provides excellent communications and service to the candidate, recruiting team, hiring manager, and other key stakeholders. Performs a variety of hiring and onboarding functional tasks, with a commitment to accuracy. Pivots to where the immediate hiring need lies, as advised by the Recruiting team or HR Director. Delivers an exceptional candidate experience and acts as brand ambassador when representing Pomvom. Talent Management : Conducts follow up check in meetings with all new hires within the first few days of employment, if timing permits. Fields any onboarding questions from new hires. Provides a summary of the candidate's qualifications for the Hiring Manager's review and approval prior to extending the offer, per site preferences. Schedules screens/interviews (virtually or in-person); oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials. Applies behavioral based interviewing and other techniques to identify and select the best qualified candidates. Collaborates with the recruiting team, hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details. Continuously and actively source resumes through the internet and database to fulfill the Requiting Requests needs. Onboarding Processes: Accurately inputs new hires, and rehires, into onboarding software & spreadsheet, issues onboarding paperwork and monitors candidates' completion of required documents. Advises Payroll & HR Administrator when candidates have successfully completed all onboarding paperwork for hiring employees into payroll. Other Responsibilities: This is a non-exempt position requiring remote time keeping clocking procedures. Overtime must be approved in advance by the HR Director. Participation in regularly scheduled meetings with HR Director, HR Team, Operations, or other stakeholders. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies. Presents a positive and professional representation of the company to prospective hires and current staff. Responds to external and internal emails, texts, and voicemails within 48 hours. Maintains a current calendar with interviews, meetings and other business activities and provides handover notes when out of the office. Remote duties require devotion and full-time attention and energy to the business of the Company. Maintains confidentiality at all times. REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent communication skills. Being honest, empathetic, positive, and patient are skills needed to be successful in this role. Ability to easily connect with people. Exceptional judgment capabilities. Proactive, self-motivated, and driven - strives to deliver great results and drive continuous improvement and enjoys getting things done. Ability to provide accurate updates on candidate pools, the candidate process and/or challenges weekly. Proven time-management and organizational skills to successfully manage interview and candidate flow, onboarding spreadsheets and software systems, while exercising constant follow up activities. Ability to meet deadlines. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software, other recruitment systems and excel spreadsheets. Ability to utilize the job boards, applicant tracking and onboarding systems to manage requisition and candidate-to-employee activities. Strong attention while maintaining commitment to quality. Team player with ability to work well independently and interface daily with a diverse population. Assist with projects, vacation coverage and other responsibilities as assigned. Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability; thrives in a changing and/or fast paced environment. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook) Must live in the time zone where working. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required. Two years demonstrated success in executing a full-cycle non-exempt recruiting functions preferred. Preference toward a candidate with recent experience as an operations manager Proficient with ATS System and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Internet Savvy PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, headphones, and/or cell phone.
