Job Description:
DTN is looking for a Senior Product Manager that will play a key role in developing new and innovative SaaS and DaaS solutions that use weather, business intelligence, and machine learning to solve operational challenges for our aviation customers and partners.
Successful candidates will be energetic collaborators and clear communicators, that have a demonstrable bias toward action. An ideal candidate has a history of using data to drive decisions and relentlessly test assumptions through frequent releases and customer interactions.
Responsibilities:

• Manages product P&L in alignment with company objectives.
• Develops and manages the strategy, roadmap and delivery activities for group of related products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life.
• Ability to travel 10-20% to attend relevant industry trade shows, customer advisory boards, and meet customers and partners to understand their unique businesses and needs
• Evaluates external and internal data to determine product pricing.
• Provides direction on day-to-day product execution activities through active participate in agile ceremonies, with other stakeholders, including Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Plannings, Sprint Retrospectives and End of Sprint Demos
• A basic understanding of AI / Machine Learning techniques and how predictive models can be embedded in SaaS and API solutions
• Conducts research to determine competitive benchmarking/market trends and understand company’s competitive position.
• Applies user-centered design methodologies to develop new products or enhance existing products based on customer needs.
• Effectively collaborates with Marketing and Sales teams on go-to-market activities.

Background and Experience:

• Demonstrated interpersonal relationship skills, showing a history of tightly collaborating with sales, marketing and engineering leadership.
• 3+ years of Product Management experience inside an agile team that releases early, frequently and learns continuously
• Familiarity with basic financial concepts and financial planning/budgeting experience
• 3+ years of Product Management experience with B2B SaaS and/or DaaS products
• Ability to synthesize and communicate complex information in simple terminology and communicate between business/client-facing teams and technical teams
• Strong analytical aptitude and a demonstrated history of using data and insights to guide product decisions through A/B or other multivariate tests

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in and around airports, airlines, air navigation service providers, or vendors serving the aviation industry
• Experience collaboratively building value-based pricing models
• Experience working closely with Data Science teams to create predictive models
• Experience working closely with User Experience, User Research and User Interface teams in designing products to deliver value to customers
