Position Overview
Blue Acorn iCi is looking for a Strategic Insights Consultant to provide strategic guidance and recommendations to organizations based on in-depth research, data analysis, and market insights. This role involves gathering and interpreting data, conducting market research, and identifying key trends and opportunities that can inform the organization's strategic decision-making process
Role and Responsibilities:
- Competitive intelligence: Monitor competitors' activities, including product launches, marketing campaigns, pricing strategies, and market positioning. Provide competitive analysis and insights to support the organization's competitive advantage.
- Client/customer insights: Understand clients' needs and preferences through data analysis, customer surveys, and feedback. Translate customer insights into actionable strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
- Thought leadership: Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in strategic consulting and market research. Share expertise and insights through thought leadership content, industry conferences, and networking events.
- Conduct market research: Gather and analyze data from various sources, including primary and secondary research, to understand market dynamics, customer behavior, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Identify growth opportunities: Identify and evaluate new market segments, product/service offerings, and potential partnerships or acquisitions to drive business growth and increase market share.
- Strategic planning: Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, product development, and executive management, to develop and refine the organization's strategic goals and objectives. Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on market insights and competitive intelligence.
- Data analysis and interpretation: Analyze digital performance and leverage data visualization tools to extract meaningful insights and identify patterns, correlations, and trends that can inform strategic decision-making.
- Present findings and recommendations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, reports, and dashboards to communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years in analytical or consulting roles preferably focused on digital performance and insight.
- A strategic mindset with a keen understanding of business dynamics, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality work.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business administration, marketing, economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in market research or data analytics are a plus.
- Ethical and professional conduct, ensuring confidentiality and data privacy in handling sensitive information.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, draw actionable insights, and make strategic recommendations.
- Proven experience in market research, strategic consulting, or a related role. Experience in a consulting firm is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts and findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
The US average base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $120,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, but they are subject to change based on the following factors: role, experience level, education/certification, job-related skills, and working location. Please note that some states within the US have pay/hiring laws that may affect the salary range listed above.
