Product Operations Manager
Description:
The Digital Portfolio Operations Department is responsible for operationalizing the standards, strategies, and processes for how our digital products and services are delivered and ensures portfolios and product teams are set up to deliver consistently and with low friction. This department is an agile-run department and serves as an ambassador for agile principles across all aspects of product development. In order to drive continuous improvement and seamless agile product delivery, we focus on:
Maintain and updates templates, guides, references and other key resources. The Product Operations Manager may not be responsible for creating all templates, guides, and references but they ensure they are available from an easy to access location and are maintained or updated by the appropriate owners as needed.
- Establish and roll out best practices related to product tools, processes, communications or metrics and ensure consistent practices are used across the product teams.
a. Address emerging issues by ensuring that Product Manager has insight and information, and can properly prioritize the issue.
b. Establish and roll out best practices related to tools, processes, procedures or other defined product activities.
- Responsible for the product tools and advocating for change with tool owners to drive efficiency and effective collaboration with product teams.
a. Act as the SME for key product tools (Clarity, Aha, Jira Integration, Mural)
Minimum Requirements:
• BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience working in product management, project management, or program management roles in technology or operational teams
• 3+ years' experience delivering outstanding user or stakeholder experiences
• 3+ years project management experience, including Agile or SAFe frameworks
• Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail
• Experience executing and working in cross-functional team environments and working with 3rd parties to drive results
• Experience working with data to identify trends, generate insights, and problem solving
• Ability to juggle multiple activities at once and ensure timely delivery of each
Preferred Qualifications:
• Agile or SAFe certifications required within 6 months of hire
