Sr Manager, Entertainment And English Partnerships

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Entertainment and English Partnerships, is responsible for expanding the Ariat brand to new consumers in music and entertainment, as well as contributing to the growth of our English riding market. This is a strategic role, working cross functionally to leverage and maximize partnerships. It requires the ability to interact in a fast-paced environment, often under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. This individual will work with a diverse team as well as independently in a multi-task environment that requires strong organization and communication skills, with focus and attention to detail.

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Working collaboratively with sales, product, and marketing teams, as well as external agencies
• Planning and leading the execution of multi-year partnerships and sponsorships
• Directing the integration of partnerships across the marketing mix, including but not limited to public relations and social media
• Understanding annual marketing objectives, work with external and internal partners to deliver against those objectives
• Leading activation programs with country music artists and venue partnerships
• Negotiating and managing complex contracts, thinking creatively to maximize opportunities for both the brand and external partners
• Identifying and cultivating authentic brand fans in the entertainment and music space
• Forecasting and managing budget for all entertainment and English partnerships
• Contributing to the global English strategy. Lead activation programs with key English horse shows and partners (USEF, WEC, Live Oak, Equus Foundation, etc.)

About You

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Equestrian knowledge a plus
• Strong work ethic, flexible, takes initiative, works independently, positive attitude
• Excellent project management skills; ability to lead cross functional marketing campaigns
• Experience working with athletes and/or A-list celebrities
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Experience managing or supervising employees
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, with weekend flexibility
• Proven ability to collaborate with a wide range of cross functional partners
• 6+ years in relevant industry or position
• Ability to manage, plan and report against fiscal budgets
• Team player, strong sense of urgency; serious commitment to hard work and excellence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills including meeting facilitation and presentation (Mac Keynote, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Office experience)

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 per year.

The salary is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data for geographic locations. Ariat in good faith believes that this posted compensation range is accurate for this role at this location at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
