About The Role


The San Francisco Giants are looking for a full-time Manager, Live Experience + Entertainment where you will have the unique opportunity to impact the game experience at Oracle Park. T his role will play a significant part in the creation, production and execution of game-day experiences and entertainment for all Giants home games. This role reports to the Sr. Director, Live Experience + Entertainment and will be located in our beautiful ballpark headquarters at 24 Willie Mays Plaza in San Francisco.


You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because…


  • Manage two full-time direct reports with the Live Experience + Entertainment department
  • Manage inventory and talent booking for National Anthems, Ceremonial First Pitches, DJs and other in-game performance opportunities
  • Oversee the Game Day Experiences and Mascot programs, including Scoreboard Messages, Game Ball Delivery, Honorary Captain, Lou Seal Appearances, etc.
  • Serve as associate producer for all Giants home games
  • Manage the hiring and development of department part-time staff including interns, game day staff and Giants game day talent.
  • Responsible for managing inventory and scheduling all programming elements for Giants home games including partnership features, Giants marketing messaging and general entertainment elements
  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders including SFG Productions, Marketing, Special Events and Corporate partnerships to ideate new and engaging experiences, features and scoreboard content.
  • Contribute to the creation of scripts and formats for all Giants Home Games and select special events
  • Manage roster of Giants in-game talent including In-Game Hosts, Mascot,
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of special events, ceremonies, and promotional activities


Qualifications


  • Flexible schedule. Must be able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours in addition to regular business hours as dictated by the stadium event schedule.
  • Great at driving and maintaining relationships with external and internal partners
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the game of baseball
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • 2 years of experience managing others
  • You thrive and maintain flexibility in high-pressure situations and fast-paced work environments
  • Strong tolerance for ambiguity
  • Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to author and deliver presentations
  • You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects while staying ahead of deadlines
  • A keen sense of ownership, drive, and willingness to get it done
  • Knowledge of live production workflow and broadcast equipment

At the San Francisco Giants, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $77,000 to $87,000 plus 15% annual bonus and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience and other factors the San Francisco Giants consider relevant to the hiring decision Additionally, this role might be eligible for bonus or incentive awards.
